With an interest in criminal defense, Cassie Barkett has focused her practice in that area but is also part of the litigation team on several complex civil matters.
She has also directed her energies toward serving the community by being an active member in the Junior League of Tulsa and making a bid for the state legislature in 2000.
Cassie Barkett graduated from Texas Christian University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science. Following graduation from TCU, Cassie received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2000 where she graduated with honors as a member of the Order of the Curule Chair and the Order of Barristers. She was also the recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence, Research, Analysis and Writing, Criminal Procedure I, Trial Practice and Secured Transactions. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, Tulsa County Criminal Defense Lawyer?s Association and the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Association.
Cassie is admitted to practice before the Oklahoma Bar, United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma and the Northern District of Texas.
